McLaren has introduced its new 2024 750S coupe and 750S Spider convertible models, which will replace the 720S in their lineup. According to the automaker, the 750S is their lightest and most powerful series-production vehicle to date.Mclaren 750S
To enhance aerodynamics, the 750S retains some design elements from its predecessor but features a new front bumper that guides air into narrower and more rounded air intakes. The larger front splitter and rear wing work together to increase downforce. Additionally, the 750S showcases a new rear bumper, bigger sill intakes, a fresh decklid, a mesh rear grille, and a center-exit exhaust similar to the one found on the limited production P1 hypercar.
Inside the new McLaren, drivers can expect upholstery options of full Nappa leather or Nappa leather with simulated suede. The cabin is accentuated with darkened metal accents and customizable ambient lighting for added contrast. The digital instrument cluster is positioned on a binnacle that moves with the steering wheel, while the McLaren Control Launcher enables owners to save various vehicle settings for aero, handling, powertrain, and transmission. The infotainment system has also received new software and now includes standard Apple CarPlay.
Powering the 2024 McLaren 750S is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, delivering 730 horsepower. This is a 20 horsepower increase compared to the 720S. The engine is paired with a seven-speed sequential gearbox and standard rear-wheel drive. McLaren claims the 750S can reach 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 206 mph. While it accelerates faster than the 720S, it has a slightly lower top speed of 212 mph.
The 750S comes equipped with the latest Proactive Chassis Control system, featuring softer front springs and firmer rear springs. The vehicle-lift system has also been improved, allowing the front of the car to be raised in just four seconds, six seconds faster than the 720S.
The 2024 McLaren 750S is currently available for ordering. The pricing for the coupe starts at $329,500, including the $5,500 destination charge, while the Spider variant starts at $350,500.
